Job Description
What is the opportunity?
This role supports RBC Wealth Management Canada's Training & Development team across four main areas: event planning and coordination, intranet content management, reporting and analytics support, and administrative operations. Key responsibilities include organizing firm-wide conferences and early talent events, maintaining intranet pages with consistent branding, tracking program attendance in Salesforce, and providing scheduling and administrative support to the director and team.
What will you do?
- Event Planning & Coordination – Plan and execute early talent events and firm-wide conferences, managing logistics, venue arrangements, agendas, speaker schedules, and attendee communications from registration through post-event follow-up.
- Event Delivery & Vendor Management – Coordinate large-scale event execution (including on-site troubleshooting), liaise with internal stakeholders and external vendors, and prepare event materials and documentation.
- Event Budget & Performance – Monitor event budgets, track expenses, gather attendee feedback, and analyze event performance to inform future improvements.
- Hybrid/Virtual Event Support – Provide technical setup and participant engagement support for hybrid and virtual events as needed.
- Intranet Content Management – Create, edit, and maintain intranet pages; conduct content audits; ensure consistent RBC branding and formatting standards.
- Intranet Resource Optimization – Collaborate with Training & Development teams to develop learning resources, identify outdated content, and monitor user feedback for continuous improvement.
- Reporting & Analytics – Track program and national call attendance in Salesforce and support semi-annual branch reporting initiatives.
- Administrative & Operational Support – Provide day-to-day administrative assistance to the Strategy and Communications team and director, including scheduling, meeting preparation, documentation management, and ad hoc projects using Asana.
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
- Event planning and coordination experience in a corporate environment with proven ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives
- Strong proficiency with project management tools (Asana) and Microsoft Office suite
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to maintain accurate documentation
- Proficient with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms for data tracking and reporting
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for cross-functional stakeholder coordination
Nice-to-have
- Experience with intranet platforms and content management systems
- Familiarity with hybrid/virtual event technology and technical troubleshooting
- Background in financial services or wealth management industry
- Experience with budget tracking
- Knowledge of RBC systems, culture, or brand standards

Compensation for this position (including salary and discretionary/variable payments) will be determined by factors, including but not limited to candidate's experience, skills, registration status, performance, individual goals, market conditions, and business needs.
Pay Range
The expected pay range for this position is:
$55,000.00 - $90,000.00The pay range provided is for the primary work location referenced in the Additional Job Details section of this job posting. Pay ranges may differ based on location. If the posting lists multiple job locations, a recruiter can confirm availability of the role and the relevant pay rage for the additional locations listed.
