JOB SUMMARY: Participate in operations related to loading and unloading, mobilizing drilling equipment and any odd deck jobs as well as participating in the first-line maintenance of relevant equipment.

PRE-REQUISITES/QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Previous experience as Able Seafarer on a Semi-Submersible
  • STCW Bridge Watch Rating or Equivalent
  • Structured and organized mindset
  • High level of integrity
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Must pass Physical, Drug Screen and Background/Pre-Employment Screening Checks

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supply vessel operations, Cargo transfer, Measuring/ laying out tubular, orderliness and cleaning in Deck areas and other duties that fall under the Marine department.
  • In emergency situations the Able Seafarer shall execute functions in accordance to Station Bill.
  • The Able Seafarer shall carry out maintenance per Section Leader s and Deck Foreman s instructions.
  • During helicopter operations, shall act as helideck assistant unless otherwise agreed.
  • The Able Seafarer shall be familiar with the paint system used and carry out preparation of surfaces and paintwork under the Marine Department.
  • The Able Seafarer is responsible for maintaining the work area in a tidy manner at all times.
  • The Able Seafarer is responsible for ensuring that the work carried out within their responsibility is performed in a safe and efficient manner and in accordance to company procedures.
  • The Able Seafarer shall conduct watch standing and lifesaving duties as per flag state minimum manning certificate when required.
  • The Able Seafarer shall give assistance to Deck foreman, Crane Operators and Roustabouts in duties on deck when required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
