The Centre for Learning Futures at UNB is the university's hub for lifelong learning, supporting community engagement and revenue growth through innovative programming. The Strategic Marketing, Sales & Communication unit drives recruitment, sales, marketing, and retention across a broad portfolio.

Additional Working Conditions:

Salary Range: $46,251 - $57,812 per annum
YOUR FOCUS
Reporting to the Assistant Director, Strategic Marketing, Sales & Communication, the Recruitment & Sales Officer is responsible for attracting local, national, and international learners to UNB's professional development programs. This role focuses on meeting enrollment targets through proactive recruitment, stakeholder engagement, and pre-sales support, while contributing to retention initiatives that enhance the learner experience.
- Support the development and execution of recruitment strategies for defined target markets.
- Coordinate recruitment plans with internal stakeholders and academic faculties.
- Contribute to lead generation and sales targets and support efforts to achieve them.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective learners through innovative recruitment and marketing initiatives.
- Monitor market trends and gather data to inform recruitment strategies.
- Serve as a primary contact for prospective learners and provide accurate information on programs, costs, and requirements.
- Support coordination and administration of non-credit programs, including scheduling, enrolment processing, and communication with learners and instructors.
- Address learner and instructor inquiries, resolve routine issues, and support a positive program experience.
- Support process automation and improve operational efficiency using systems such as Footprints, Destiny, CRM, and related applications.
- Provide input on workflows, documentation, templates, policies, and communication plans.
- Support marketing campaigns and assist with planning and delivery of tradeshows, conferences, webinars, and virtual events.
- Represent UNB at events and engage with prospective learners and partners to generate leads.
- Coordinate event logistics and support registration processes, including for contests and award recipients.
- Liaise with professional associations, government bodies, and external partners as required.
- Contribute to special projects and collaborative initiatives that enhance learner engagement and operational effectiveness.
- Provide backup support for the Sales Success Specialist and assist with emerging priorities as needed.
WHAT YOU BRING
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, preferably with a concentration in business or marketing.
- 3-5 years of inside sales experience with a proven track record of achieving measurable results.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Additional Strengths
- Familiarity with Salesforce considered an asset.
- Additional technical training in computerized business systems or equivalent practical experience is considered an asset.
- Experience or coursework related to relational databases and CMS technologies is an asset.
- Familiarity with lead generation and account management principles.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team while contributing to shared goals.
