Inventory Clerk

Title: Inventory Clerk
Location: Brampton, ON
Wage:$22.00 / hr
Shift: 8:00am-5:00pm

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Clerk to support warehouse operations and ensure accurate inventory management. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Material Handling Equipment (MHE) such as forklifts, pallet jacks, reach trucks, or order pickers, and will help maintain smooth material flow throughout the warehouse. This position is for a future vacancy.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct daily inventory checks, cycle counts, and stock audits to maintain accuracy
• Update inventory records within warehouse management systems (WMS)
• Safely operate MHE, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers
• Organize warehouse storage to optimize stock rotation and accessibility
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, escalating issues as needed
• Assist with shipping, receiving, and related documentation
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment in compliance with safety standards

Qualifications

• Experience operating MHE; forklift certification preferred
• Excellent attention to detail and strong accuracy in record-keeping
• Ability to lift and handle materials as required
• Basic computer skills; familiarity with WMS or ERP systems is a plus
• Strong organizational, time-management, and teamwork skills
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently
