Reporting to the Technical Publications and Proposal Manager, the Digital / Proposal Marketing Specialist plays a key role in developing and delivering high-quality marketing and proposal content. This position works closely with Technical Publications and Business Development teams to support brand visibility, proposal development, and strategic marketing initiatives across digital platforms and corporate channels.
Marketing & Digital Content
- Support and maintain the company's social media presence (e.g., LinkedIn, Twitter/X).
- Assist in developing and executing the social media content calendar.
- Create and publish engaging digital content, including posts, articles, and campaign materials.
- Assist with website updates and ongoing content management.
- Design and develop marketing and advertising materials, including brochures and promotional assets.
Proposals & Business Development Support
- Support proposal development, including content creation, coordination of inputs, and document formatting.
- Prepare marketing and presentation materials for tradeshows and industry events.
- Contribute to business development initiatives, including white papers and strategic content.
- Assist in research and coordination related to funding opportunities, grants, and certifications.
Website & Brand Management
- Support the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the company website.
- Ensure brand consistency across all marketing and communication materials.
Collaboration & Operations
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Business Development, Technical Publications, and other internal teams.
- Participate in planning sessions, strategy discussions, and information-sharing meetings.
- Support additional corporate and operational initiatives as required.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in marketing, social media, or a related role.
- Experience managing social media platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Twitter).
- Experience supporting proposals, marketing campaigns, or business development activities.
- Familiarity with tradeshow planning and coordination.
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office tools.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to occasionally work evenings or weekends as required.
- Must be eligible to obtain a Government of Canada security clearance.
