Qualifications: Graduation from an approved university or college with a Bachelor?s Degree in Nursing. Successful completion of the Canadian Diabetes Association Certification program and current registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Newfoundland and Labrador is required. The successful candidate must have five (5) years nursing experience and knowledge of current education theories and practical applications of such theories. A satisfactory record of work performance and attendance is required.

If no suitable candidate meets the above noted qualifications, applicants with the following qualifications will be considered.

Graduation from an approved university or college with a Bachelor?s Degree in Nursing is required. Current registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Newfoundland and Labrador and successful completion of the Canadian Diabetes Educator Certification Program within eighteen (18) months of appointment to the position are also required. Five (5) years nursing experience and knowledge of current education theories and practical applications of such theories is preferred. A satisfactory record of work performance and attendance is required.
