We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Manager. This is a Senior Management role responsible to lead corporate maintenance for Country Ribbon Inc. You will direct maintenance activities to ensure optimal efficiencies by proactively scheduling and overseeing repairs and maintenance of facilities, machinery, and equipment both ongoing and preventative. Additionally, you will be responsible for formulating and arranging plans to update systems and reduce operating costs by analyzing and expertly resolving maintenance issues.
Duties and Responsibilities?
Key expectations for this role will include:
- Lead corporate maintenance activities to ensure all facilities, machinery and equipment are meeting optimal operational efficiencies and effectiveness
- Facilitate and foster a team-based approach to maintenance activities
- Manage daily activities and work performance of the maintenance team through coaching and mentoring
- Execute the preventative maintenance program to eliminate unplanned downtime, reduce work order backlog, and lower maintenance and operating costs
- Provide technical advice and guidance in the analysis and resolution of maintenance and repair issues
- Ensure occupational, health & safety practices and the food safety program is followed
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators and make improvements as required
- Ensure departmental budgets are appropriately developed, monitored, and adhered to
- Lead capital project planning, machinery installations and building renovations
- Coordinate and oversee all work performed by outside contractors

If you are highly motivated with excellent interpersonal skills this could be a great opportunity for you. This role requires proven leadership with a strong focus on coaching and motivating. You will have completed a college diploma in Mechanical/Industrial/Electrical Engineering Technology and/or an Industrial Mechanic/Electrical/Instrumentation Interprovincial certificate. This will be combined with 5+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or processing work environment. Strong decision-making capabilities, and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills are necessary for success.
