Job Summary
The Infrastructure Support Department is responsible for the operations, maintenance and renovation of existing space, provision of new space and capital infrastructure expenditures for NL Health Services. As a member of the Infrastructure Support Management Team, the Site Manager leads the Infrastructure Support Department at one or more sites within NL Health Services Eastern Urban Zone.
Reporting to the Regional Manager of Infrastructure, the Site Manager is responsible for providing leadership, supervision and direction to a site(s). This position is accountable for establishing NL Health's vision for infrastructure and to provide strategic advice and guidance on business, building systems, as well as industry trends and best practices. The Incumbent ensures that NL Health's facilities and business continuity solutions are consistently delivered and aligned with today's building codes and regulations. This position is accountable for planning, organizing, coordinating, controlling and evaluating the development and operation of a comprehensive Infrastructure Department. The Site Manager is also accountable for providing uninterrupted utility services to the complex, maintenance fix and repair duties, new equipment installs and interior renovations. This position is also responsible for monitoring, managing, and improving a comprehensive computer maintenance management/asset management system.
Job Qualifications
Education
Diploma in Engineering Technology from an accredited program supplemented by a Bachelor's Degree in Technology is required.
Certification as an Engineering Technician/Technologist is considered an asset.
Experience
Minimum of five (5) years of experience within the last seven (7) in facility management is required.
