About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office & Compliance Manager to lead our administrative and regulatory operations. Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Administration:
    • Manage full-cycle Accounts Payable and Receivable, including vendor payments and customer invoicing.
    • Process weekly payroll, including harvesters/fishermen settlements, T4s, and ROEs.
    • Perform bank reconciliations and assist with month-end financial reporting.
  • Regulatory & Compliance:
    • Maintain and audit records for CFIA compliance, including PCP (Preventive Control Plans) and HACCP documentation.
    • Manage the application and renewal of provincial Fish Buyers Licenses and associated permits.
    • Act as the primary point of contact for regulatory inspectors and government agencies.
  • Operations & Inventory:
    • Audit daily inventory tracking of raw materials and finished goods.
    • Reconcile system inventory balances against physical counts in the warehouse.
  • Office Management:
    • Review and optimize administrative workflows to increase office efficiency.
    • Oversee general office supplies, equipment maintenance, and filing systems.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 3+ years in office management or accounting, preferably within the seafood or food manufacturing industry.
