Delivery Driver (G-Class)

Job Title: G-class Delivery Driver

Location: Burlington, Ontario - Upper Middle Road & Appleby Line

Shifts: Days, 6:00am start time, Monday - Saturday (Saturday shifts are mandatory) TOTAL 5 SHIFTS PER WEEK, AVERAGE 40 HOURS PER WEEK

Rate of Pay: $21.00/hour to start

Job Type: Temporary to Permanent Hire

We are hiring a G Class - Delivery Driver for our client in Burlington. This company distributes produce to customers across the GTA and Niagara regions. Qualified candidates will have a valid G Class Driver's License with a clean driver's abstract, be available to work on Saturdays, and have experience in a similar customer service-oriented delivery driving role. This position is a long-term to permanent hire position with a reputable c ompany.

Responsibilities Include:

• Deliver produce orders to customer locations in a timely manner.
• Manually load and unload crates of produce from a 20-ft box truck.
• Complete and submit all required paperwork and driver logs during deliveries.
• Communicate any delivery issues or customer concerns to management.
• Provide excellent customer service while delivering products.
• Safely operate the company's 20-ft box truck and maintain vehicle cleanliness.
• Safely lift and handle items weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Perform other general duties as assigned.

Candidate Qualifications:

• Valid G Class Driver's License
• Driver's Abstract (dated within past 30 days)
• Willing to provide a Criminal Record Search
• 2-3 years recent, verifiable experience working in a commercial delivery driving role
• Excellent customer service skills and strong attention to detail
• Punctual and reliable
• Able to lift up to 50lbs regularly
