SummaryAs a ServiceNow Platform Architect / System Administrator, you will serve as the technical authority and platform owner for Bell's ServiceNow environment. Your primary focus will be the stability, reliability, security, and evolution of the ServiceNow platform, supporting enterprise IT service management and business workflows at scale.
Key Responsibilities- Own and evolve the ServiceNow platform architecture, ensuring high availability, performance, scalability, and security.
- Act as the senior system administrator for ServiceNow, overseeing configuration, upgrades, patching, and environment management.
- Define and enforce platform standards, architectural patterns, and governance.
- Design, review, and approve complex ServiceNow solutions across ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, and custom applications.
- Manage and support integrations using REST, SOAP, MID Servers, and enterprise tooling.
- Ensure platform alignment with Bell's enterprise architecture, security, and compliance requirements.
- Support the controlled adoption of AI-assisted ServiceNow capabilities (e.g., Now Assist) where they add operational value.
- Partner with delivery teams to translate business requirements into robust, supportable technical solutions.
- Participate in an on-call support rotation, providing escalation support for critical ServiceNow incidents and platform issues.
- Mentor and guide developers, administrators, and architects on ServiceNow best practices.
- Proactively identify platform risks, technical debt, and capacity concerns, and lead remediation initiatives.
- Advanced expertise in ServiceNow system administration and platform architecture.
- Strong experience with ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, Discovery, and Service Mapping.
- Proven ability to manage upgrades, releases, and platform lifecycle activities.
- Hands-on experience with integrations and enterprise connectivity (REST, SOAP, MID Server).
- Solid understanding of DevSecOps, automation, testing, and release management.
- Familiarity with Now Assist and AI-assisted ServiceNow features is an asset.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise platforms, cloud computing, and security principles.
- University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering, platform administration, or architecture.
- 5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow system administration and architecture experience.
- Experience supporting 24/7 or mission-critical enterprise platforms.
- ServiceNow certifications (CSA, CIS, CAD, CTA) are strong assets.
