Incentives & Remuneration

Successful applicants may be eligible to receive the following:

• Urban recruitment incentive of $50,000.00 with a return of service or Rural recruitment incentive of $100,000 with a return of service

• Moving expense reimbursement is also available.

Remuneration will be determined in accordance with the specific role and practice location. Additional details will be shared as the recruitment process progresses.

What you will do

The Oncology Physician will join a well-established team of oncologists at one of our facilities. This full-time position offers an opportunity to provide high-quality, comprehensive medical care, with opportunities to participate in subspecialty activities catering to the applicant's interest. Opportunities and responsibilities may include:

• Provide high-quality care for patients with a range of oncological conditions across inpatient, outpatient, and emergency settings
• Collaborate closely with referring physicians and multidisciplinary care teams to ensure coordinated oncology care
• Participate in departmental quality improvement initiatives and service development
• Contribute to teaching, academic activities, and mentorship of medical learners
• Support the ongoing advancement of oncology services in New Brunswick.

Who you are

• Medical degree from a recognized institution.
• Certification in Medical Oncology with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (FRCPC) or equivalent.
• Candidates must be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of New Brunswick.
• Proficiency in English is required. Bilingual skills would be considered an asset.
• Interest in academic practice, teaching, or subspecialisation in oncology is considered an asset.
