Incentives & Remuneration
Successful applicants may be eligible to receive the following:
- Urban recruitment incentive of $50,000.00 with a return of service or Rural recruitment incentive of $100,000 with a return of service
- Moving expense reimbursement is also available.
Remuneration will be determined in accordance with the specific role and practice location. Additional details will be shared as the recruitment process progresses.
What you will do
The Neurologist will join a well-established team at one of our facilities. This full-time position offers an opportunity to provide high-quality, comprehensive medical care, with opportunities to participate in subspecialty activities catering to the applicant's interest. Opportunities and responsibilities may include:
- Provide ambulatory care in a teaching clinic setting.
- Provide inpatient care including rounds on patients.
- Provide consultations to hospital-based patients as requested by attending staff.
- Provide on-call services during statutory holidays, evenings and weekends as part of the on-call schedule of the provincial service.
- Participate in medical practice that is compatible with the Health Authority's mission, values and strategic directions.
Who you are
- Medical degree from a recognized institution.
- Certification with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada as Specialist Neurology or equivalent.
- Eligibility for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of New Brunswick.
- Proficiency in English; bilingual skills are considered an asset.
