JOB SUMMARY :

The Project Coordinator – Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA) reports to the Regional Director of Community Engagement. In general, they are responsible for coordinating CHNAs in the various communities served by Vitalité Health Network. The Project Coordinator acts as an advisor to Vitalité Health Network management and to other internal stakeholders with respect to CHNAs and the follow-up actions arising from them. They guide and support stakeholders in carrying out CHNAs (data collection and analysis, coordination of committee activities, participation in community advisory committees, report writing, and presentation of results).

REQUIREMENTS :

  • Graduate degree in a field related to the position, such as social sciences, health sciences, or a related discipline or any other equivalent combination of training and experience;
  • An undergraduate degree in a health-related discipline would be considered an asset;
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the collection, analysis, interpretation, and dissemination of qualitative and quantitative information;
  • Experience in qualitative research and research methodology;
  • Experience in community facilitation and project management;
  • Proficiency with standard computer tools (Microsoft Office Suite);
  • Understanding of the social determinants of health;
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in both official languages;
  • Strong analytical, writing, and synthesis skills;
  • Demonstrated leadership ability;
  • Ability to set priorities and achieve objectives;
  • Ability to manage multiple projects/tasks simultaneously, with an understanding of organizational needs and priorities;
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects;
  • Demonstrated group facilitation skills;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Physical ability to perform the assigned work;
  • Good work history (performance and attendance);
  • Adherence to professional ethical principles, the Network's management philosophy, and organizational values;
  • Compliance with the rules of confidentiality set by Vitalité Health Network.
