CENTRE FOR RESEARCH IN INTEGRATED CARE
The Centre for Research in Integrated Care (CRIC) is based out of UNB Saint John. CRIC is a living laboratory that develops and evaluates integrated patient-centred models of care for individuals with complex care needs, their families, and members of the care team.

Standard Work Hours: Mon - Fri | 8:15 am - 4:30 pm |36.25 hours per week
Salary Range: $52,933 - $68,818 per annum
YOUR FOCUS
Reporting to the Research Program Manager, the Research Assistant contributes to all stages of the research process, including supporting grant applications, conducting systematic and scoping reviews, supporting program implementation, contributing to the evaluation of models of care, collecting qualitative and quantitative data, participating in data analysis, and assisting with knowledge translation activities.
- Identify and pursue funding opportunities to support new and ongoing research initiatives.
- Prepare and submit research ethics applications and required reports.
- Develop project deliverables and conduct background research, including systematic and scoping reviews.
- Collaborate with CRIC staff and faculty to support project coordination.
- Support participant recruitment, conduct interviews and focus groups, collect qualitative and quantitative data, and complete transcription as required.
- Contribute to qualitative and quantitative data analysis and interpretation of findings.
- Lead knowledge translation activities, including preparation of publications, infographics, policy briefs, posters, and research reports.
- Present research findings to relevant interest-holders and community partners.
- Provide administrative and organizational support for CRIC events, including the Patients' Den and the Canadian Health Care Navigation Conference.
- Support trainee supervision and provide guidance on research-related projects and tasks.
WHAT YOU BRING
- Master's degree in a health discipline or a related field.
- 1-2 year's experience in health research, preferably as part of a team. This includes experience with qualitative and quantitative methodologies, and experience conducting systematic and scoping reviews.
Additional Strengths
- Experience with graphic design considered an asset.
- Strong writing, interpersonal, and communication skills are essential.
- Experience searching online academic databases; experience preparing and submitting grant applications.
- Familiarity with knowledge translation plans and tools.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
