Reporting to the Clinical Engineering Manager, the Clinical Engineering Technologist 4 will be responsible to assists with the administration of the Digital Imaging sector including planning of equipment acquisition, system integration and coordination of external service providers
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Supervision, scheduling, training, orientation and take responsibility for directing, providing operational leadership, evaluating and motivating CE Technologists performance
- Supervise and coordinate preventive maintenance, repair and support programs for related medical electronic equipment
- Acting as a technology liaison to the users of medical equipment technology, as well as a liaison with healthcare information systems personnel
- Perform duties of CET-3 as assigned
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Graduate from an Electronic Engineering Technology program accredited by NBSCETT (New Brunswick Society of Certified Engineering Technicians and Technologists) or graduate from an accredited 3-year clinical engineering technology program.
- Must be a certified technologist and in good standing with NBSCETT (New Brunswick Society of Certified Engineering Technicians and Technologists) within the electronic technology discipline with a minimum of 6 years progressive related experience in the Digital Imaging Equipment field.
- Must demonstrate supervisory experience or ability.
- Skills and experience working with Microsoft Office Suite software (Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint, Visio¿)
- Written and spoken competence in English and French is required.

ASSET QUALIFICATIONS: Preference may be given to candidates who demonstrate they have training or experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Skills/Experience in analysis, repairing, and testing electronic and electromechanical equipment in a leadership capacity
- Experience in the application of industry standards and regulations associated with medical equipment
- Skilled with the basic anatomy and physiology as applied to the use of medical equipment
Subject to the response to this competition, candidates may be required to demonstrate on their application one or more of the asset qualifications in addition to the essential qualifications in order to be given further consideration.
OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Travel throughout the province may be required. Candidates must possess a valid driver's license and passport.
- Must be able to provide periodic off-hour on-call support.
- Candidates will be required to undergo a Criminal History Clearance prior to appointment.
- International travel to the United States or Europe is required. (Candidates must have a valid passport and meet U.S/Europe entry requirements at the time of hire)

SALARY : The salary range for the CET 4 classifcation is $34.99 to $44.00 per hour - Group 8 - Engineering and Field.
