Job purpose

• Global Liquidity & Funding Management is responsible for reporting and managing liquidity and funding risk for the bank. This includes liquidity management and strategy, stress testing, daily/monthly reporting (regulatory and management).
• The Bank has implemented a liquidity engine for enterprise LCR reporting to meet OSFI regulatory requirements.
• The chosen candidate will be responsible for supporting daily and month end enterprise liquidity reporting production including the daily data validation checks, daily SFT adjustments, EUC table review and update and month end enterprise liquidity data reconciliation against. The incumbent will also be involved in all related ongoing projects.

Duties and responsibilities
• Prepare manual adjustments to daily/weekly/monthly LCR/NCCF/NSFR reporting
• Perform various data validation checks to identify the data issues from daily production
• Assist in monthly reviewing enterprise liquidity data against bank's EGL and other benchmarks;
• Review and update EUC tables that are consumed by LRDC/ISL for enterprise reporting.
• Review the net new counterparty for liquidity reporting.
• For project releases, assist in writing BRD, establishing test cases and expected benchmarks, and performing UAT testing within the context of the applicable regulatory and operational frameworks for enterprise reporting
• Maintaining up-to-date operational procedures
• Assist in responding to regulator or management queries
• Performing other ad hoc tasks as required

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in business, finance, or economics required. MBA, CFA or CPA preferred
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the banking industry with a focus on treasury, capital markets or regulatory reporting.
• Expert knowledge of Excel, Python, SQL, VBA, Power BI
• Strong background in accounting and financial statement analysis as well as a detailed understanding of banking products across business lines.
• Prior experience with liquidity management, projects and bank's various systems would be an asset.
• Strong analytic and problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• High performance, pragmatic, detail-oriented team player able to work well in a complex, demanding and fast-paced environment.

Working conditions

Overtime may be required during peak seasons.
