The Senior Manager, Employee Listening is accountable for the development, execution, and continuous evolution of Scotiabank's global employee listening strategy. Reporting to the Director, Talent Intelligence, this role plays a critical role in elevating how the Bank collects, analyzes, communicates, and acts on employee feedback to inform employee experience initiatives, leadership decision?making, and business outcomes.
The incumbent contributes significantly to the overall success of the Talent Intelligence team by ensuring employee listening goals, plans, and initiatives are executed in support of broader business strategies and objectives. This role operates with enterprise scope, partnering closely with HR and business stakeholders globally to translate employee insights into meaningful action while ensuring alignment with the Bank's risk culture, governance expectations, and values.

- Champion a client?focused culture to deepen relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems, and knowledge.
- Lead the development and execution of Scotiabank's global employee listening strategy, including engagement surveys, lifecycle surveys (e.g., New Hire, Exit, Recruitment and Hiring), and ad?hoc surveys.
- Contribute to the design and ongoing evolution of the Bank's global employee listening program, including survey methodology, measurement approach, and feedback cycles.
- Develop and deliver key communications, reporting, and insights content for Senior Leadership, HR partners, and other key stakeholders.
- Manage the preparation and synthesis of survey results into executive?ready materials that translate data into clear insights and recommended actions.
- Develop recommendations informed by listening data, trends, and external research to support employee experience and engagement initiatives.
- Partner with key stakeholders to design, build, and implement tools, resources, and frameworks that support effective action planning and results?tracking.
- Serve as the employee listening and engagement subject?matter expert, supporting HR partners and business leaders in leveraging insights to improve employee experience and business performance.
- Act as a coach and change agent to drive behavioural change and strengthen accountability across the organization.
- Actively support internal stakeholders in understanding the connection between employee engagement, employee experience, and business outcomes to drive adoption and impact.
- Lead and participate in governance forums and regular stakeholder meetings as part of change management and enterprise coordination practices.
- Understand how the Bank's risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day?to?day activities and decisions.
Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed? We'd love to work with you if you have:
- 10+ years of work experience related to HR and/or employee listening strategy design and execution.
- Demonstrated ability to translate strategy into actionable plans and measurable results.
- Strong expertise in employee listening, engagement measurement, and insight generation.
- Experience designing and delivering executive?level communications and presentations with clarity and impact.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail and executive presence.
- Proven ability to build strategic, trust?based relationships and influence stakeholders across levels and functions.
- Intellectual curiosity and awareness of best?in?class HR and employee experience practices (internal and external).
- Strong judgment, with a demonstrated ability to maintain strict confidentiality and discretion.
- Undergraduate degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field; post?graduate degree considered an asset.
- CHRP or CHRL designation considered an asset.
- Spanish language capability considered an asset.
