The Opportunity

As a valued member of the Regional Operations team, you will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of revenue metering equipment for the Company.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • installation of transformer-rated and self-contained metering arrangements;
  • commissioning and inspection of metering sites;
  • completing upgrades to metering equipment;
  • investigate metering inquiries
  • programming electronic meters;
  • preparation of specialized applications and other related duties as assigned.

Your qualifications include:

  • a diploma in Electrical or Electronic Engineering Technology (Instrumentation or Power and Controls specialty preferred) or completion of an Industrial Electrician's certificate;
  • supplemented by related experience and a strong working knowledge of computer-based programs such as Microsoft Office;
  • holding and maintaining a valid motor vehicle driver's license;
  • some travel is required;
  • being a highly motivated team player with a strong commitment to safety and customer service;
  • having an excellent work ethic;
  • having an effective interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Compensation is in accordance with the current Collective Agreement.
