The Opportunity
As a valued member of the Regional Operations team, you will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of revenue metering equipment for the Company.
Key Responsibilities include:
- installation of transformer-rated and self-contained metering arrangements;
- commissioning and inspection of metering sites;
- completing upgrades to metering equipment;
- investigate metering inquiries
- programming electronic meters;
- preparation of specialized applications and other related duties as assigned.
Your qualifications include:
- a diploma in Electrical or Electronic Engineering Technology (Instrumentation or Power and Controls specialty preferred) or completion of an Industrial Electrician's certificate;
- supplemented by related experience and a strong working knowledge of computer-based programs such as Microsoft Office;
- holding and maintaining a valid motor vehicle driver's license;
- some travel is required;
- being a highly motivated team player with a strong commitment to safety and customer service;
- having an excellent work ethic;
- having an effective interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Compensation is in accordance with the current Collective Agreement.
