Job Summary

Our client is seeking an Inside Sales Technician to join their team in Paradise, NL. This role focuses on inside sales, supporting customers with product inquiries, quotations, and hose assembly solutions for hydraulic and industrial hose systems and related components. The successful candidate will develop technical product knowledge while gaining sales experience, with potential opportunities to grow into outside sales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide inside sales support for hydraulic hose, industrial hose, fittings, and fluid connector products.
  • Assist customers with product inquiries and help identify the correct hose and fittings for their application.
  • Prepare quotations and process customer orders.
  • Learn the company's product lines including hydraulics, Parker hose and fittings, Contitech hose products, industrial hose, and fluid connectors.
  • Develop an understanding of hose systems, fittings, and pressure applications.
  • Assist with building and selling hose assemblies as required.
  • Work with customer procurement systems such as SAP, Fieldglass, or similar platforms when required.
  • Assist with basic accounting or administrative tasks related to sales.
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Hydraulic or mechanical background through education, hands-on experience, or a combination of both.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
  • Familiar with basic accounting (invoicing, quoting, purchasing, inventory control etc.)
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to learn technical information and translate it into practical solutions for customers.
  • Organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
