The Opportunity

As a valued member of our Finance team, the Treasury Analyst plays a key role in supporting the Company's treasury operations and financial reporting processes. This position is responsible for maintaining the Company's daily cash flow forecast to support short-term liquidity management and monthly credit facility borrowings.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Preparation and maintenance of daily cash flow forecasts
  • Coordination and preparation of monthly credit facility borrowing and repayment notices, including liaison with the Company's credit facility agent
  • Preparation and coordination of corporate bond interest payments and sinking fund payments, including liaison with the Company's bond trustee and payment agent
  • Completion of monthly bank reconciliations in coordination with the Payment Centre
  • Administration of the Company's Employee Share Purchase Plan, including employee communications and issue resolution
  • Preparation, filing and payment of monthly HST remittances
  • Administration of the Company's corporate Visa program
  • Preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations in support of the monthly financial reporting process

Your qualifications include:

  • Completion of a recognized post-secondary degree or diploma in Business, Accounting or Finance
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant treasury, accounting or financial analysis experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • A treasury or finance related professional certification (e.g., CFA, CTP) is considered and asset
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and advanced features
  • Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and tight deadlines
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment
  • Experience with Great Plains or similar financial systems is considered an asset
