The RBC Dominion Securities Winnipeg branch is looking for a resourceful, efficient and collaborative individual to join our team as an Associate.

What will you do?

  • Help manage incoming communications from clients, Advisors and other internal and external partners.

  • Tap into your superior problem resolution skills to provide proactive client service. Working collaboratively, you will at times liaise with various departments to provide smooth and timely solutions.

  • Effectively respond to client account inquiries and take ownership of follow-ups.

  • Manage competing priorities with ease, demonstrating a keen sense of organization and time management

  • Excel in operational excellence to drive efficiency, streamline processes, and ensure exceptional execution.

  • Complete administrative and operational tasks to support the Advisor: process incoming and outgoing funds, coordinate client meetings and prepare material for the Advisor, process account opening and maintenance documentation, etc.

  • Identify order issues and determine appropriate course of action for effective resolution.

  • Help build and execute business plans, client segmentation exercises, and client service plans.

  • Identify opportunities for asset consolidation and referrals across the existing client base

  • Support your advisory team with new client acquisition.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

  • Relevant experience in the financial services industry

  • Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills

Nice-to-have

  • Canadian Investment Regulatory Exam, CIRE

  • Post Secondary Education (College or University)

  • Dominion Securities (DS) or Retail Brokerage work experience

  • Enthusiastic, committed, and entrepreneurial spirit
