Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Product Manager to support the design, development, and evolution of digital asset payments at RBC, with a specific focus on tokenized money models such as stablecoins and tokenized deposits. This role sits at the intersection of product strategy, technology, and enterprise enablement, supporting payments-related use cases across domestic and cross-border contexts. As a Product Manager, you will help translate emerging digital asset capabilities into clearly defined platform roadmaps, product requirements, and delivery plans aligned with regulatory expectations and enterprise priorities. You will work closely with engineering teams, digital asset subject matter experts, and partners across Payments, Technology, Risk, Legal, and Compliance to ensure product initiatives are well-defined, scalable, and positioned to support future commercialization.

What will you do?

  • Own and maintain the product roadmap for digital asset payments capabilities related to tokenized money and payments.
  • Lead product definition for stablecoin and tokenized deposit use cases, including functional requirements, user flows, and success metrics.
  • Translate business, regulatory, and technical requirements into clear product documentation, epics, and user stories.
  • Partner with engineering and architecture teams to support solution design, prioritization, and delivery execution.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders across Payments, Group Risk Management, Legal, Compliance, Technology, and Operations.
  • Support pilots, proofs of concept, and controlled production initiatives from ideation through delivery.
  • Monitor market, regulatory, and competitive developments in digital money and payments to inform product strategy.
  • Contribute to governance and decision-making forums by preparing product materials, updates, and recommendations.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • Undergraduate degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related analytical discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience in product management, product ownership, or platform delivery roles.
  • Experience working on digital payments, financial platforms, or emerging technology products.
  • Strong understanding of digital assets, tokenized money models, stablecoins, or modern payments infrastructure.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex concepts into clear product requirements and structured documentation.
  • Experience working in regulated environments and partnering with risk, legal, and compliance teams.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and organizational skills.

Nice-to-have

  • Hands-on exposure to blockchain platforms, smart contracts, or distributed ledger technologies.
  • Experience supporting enterprise-scale platforms or transformation initiatives.
  • Familiarity with agile delivery methods and modern product management practices.
  • Experience working in innovation labs, fintech environments, or digital asset programs.
