On behalf of our client, we are currently recruiting an Inside Sales Representative to join their team of dedicated professionals in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. Responsibilities:

As the Inside Sales Representative, with Business Development aspects, you will:

  • Drive sales success and business development by identifying opportunities, presenting solutions, and closing deals that meet customer needs and exceed targets.
  • Connect and collaborate by building and maintaining strong relationships with customers (established and new), vendors, OEM's, B2B, and prospects, both in person and virtually.
  • Enhance DAC's Dealer network by partnering with our Dealers and OEM's to assist with product knowledge, improve product offerings, and strengthen market presence within the Martimes.
  • Periodically travel locally and regionally to connect with dealers and customers, both new and existing.
  • Learn and become a Product Expert by understanding engines and equipment to confidently provide recommendations and support. Some brands include, but are not limited to, Hipower Generators, Deutz, Kubota, and Hatz engines, Wacker Neuson light equipment.
  • Working in a team environment and reporting directly to the Branch Manager, contributing to the growth and success of DAC Industrial Engines.

Qualifications:

As the ideal candidate, you possess a proven track record in sales of industrial equipment, engines, or related fields. An ambitious drive to meet sales targets and support overall branch revenue growth will be key to success in the role. With strong communication and relationship-building skills, you have a proactive, self-motivated mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. A passion for solving challenges and delivering exceptional customer experiences is essential. Proficient in Microsoft Office, you are a motivated individual willing to self train as and where necessary.
