The Opportunity

We are currently seeking a Talent Acquisition Manager to join our Human Resources team in Toronto.

The role is a permanent on-site position. This posting is for an existing position vacancy.

As a Talent Acquisition Manager, you will provide strategic leadership for recruitment operations, systems, and programs that support hiring across the organization, including executive search, onboarding, and employer branding. Your experience and skills will add value by improving hiring outcomes through strong people leadership, effective governance, data?informed decisions, and close partnership with business unit HR teams, business leaders and external service providers.

Additionally, in this position you will:

  • Design, implement, and continuously improve enterprise?wide recruitment systems, tools, and standardized processes and technology
  • Use data, analytics, and compliance oversight to optimize hiring efficiency, effectiveness, and regulatory adherence.
  • Lead executive recruitment and oversee recruitment delivery for corporate functions and early?career programs, including management of external vendors.
  • Oversee onboarding processes and programs, leveraging new?hire feedback to drive continuous improvement and effective integration.
  • Develop and execute a strategic employer branding approach aligned to business objectives, including digital and social recruitment strategies.
  • Develop, lead, and coach a high?performing talent acquisition team, providing mentorship, performance management, and capability development.
  • Establish strong governance, documentation, and knowledge?sharing practices to ensure consistency, scalability, and operational excellence across recruitment activities.
  • Stay current on market trends, recruitment technologies, and best practices to continuously enhance talent acquisition outcomes.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned or required in support of organizational objectives.

About You

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, Psychology or a related field is required.
  • An equivalent combination of formal education and relevant professional experience may be considered.

Experience:

  • Minimum 8 years of progressive, full?cycle recruitment experience, including sourcing, candidate evaluation, and hiring practices.
  • Demonstrated experience leading teams through new processes, systems implementations, and organizational change.
  • Experience partnering with and advising senior leaders on hiring strategies.
  • Working knowledge of employer branding, recruitment marketing, digital channels, and social media.
  • Strong understanding of local employment laws and regulatory requirements.
  • Hands?on experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other HR technologies.

Skills:

  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and relationship?building abilities.
  • Ability to analyze recruitment metrics and make data?driven decisions.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to work with urgency in a fast?paced environment.
  • Adaptability to changing business needs and evolving recruitment trends.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Power BI.
