Position Scope:
The Line Operations Manager reports directly to the Plant Manager and is responsible for overseeing the performance and efficiency of a designated production line. This role ensures that all operations comply with established quality standards, safety regulations, and company policies and procedures.
The Line Operations Manager drives operational excellence by optimizing production processes, managing and developing team members, maintaining strict quality control, and leading continuous improvement initiatives. The position plays a key role in maximizing productivity, reducing waste, and ensuring consistent product output.
The role requires strong cross-functional coordination and proactive communication with key stakeholders to support operational goals and overall plant performance. Key stakeholders including but not limited to Production Management, Maintenance, Sanitation, Logistics, Health & Safety and Human Resources.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
- On-site in a manufacturing environment with exposure to plant operations.
- Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
- Lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods is required.
Qualification & Experience
- Minimum High School Diploma.
- Post Secondary Education in a technical trade or related field would be preferred
- Three years' experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Previous leadership experience would be considered an asset.
- Demonstrated experience with process improvement initiatives (Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies preferred).
- Criminal Record Check will be required for successful applicants.
