WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?
The Access Provisioning Analyst supports the firm's User Access Management (UAM) function by facilitating secure and compliant access to RBCCM systems and applications across multiple platforms, environments and user groups. The analyst operates within a defined IT Risk and control framework and is responsible for ensuring all access is provisioned in accordance with established policies, standards, and standing orders.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
- Review and analyze access requests submitted through the firm's ticketing systems.
- Validate completeness and accuracy of requests prior to processing.
- Triage requests to appropriate approval groups, including:
- Line managers
- Role stewards
- Application or book owners
- Compliance and risk teams (as required)
- Ensure all required approvals are properly documented before fulfilment activities proceed.
- Coordinate and assign fulfillment tasks to designated contacts across various systems and platforms, be it AACG, RTB, Front Office or Vendor.
- Track requests through completion using ticketing system, email and/or complementary workflow systems (ALFRESCO, ServiceNow).
- Liaise with requesters and/or end users to confirm successful access provisioning prior to ticket closure.
- Maintain accurate documentation and audit trails within the ticketing system.
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?
Must have:
- Candidates must possess strong knowledge of information security principles, risk assessment methodologies, and security architecture.
- Fully conversant with MS suite of applications including, word, excel
- Demonstrated ability in written and oral communication skills along with strong presentation skills. Ability to determine the information and communication needs of the stakeholders and project.
- Perform all activities under the firm's IT Risk governance framework and standing orders.
- Support daily reconciliation processes that identify:
- Access provisioned without proper approvals
- Access provisioned without associated tickets
- Understand and adhere to policy requirements governing access management.
Nice-to-have:
- Comfortable working within strict risk and compliance frameworks.
- Experience with ticketing systems preferred.
- Foundational understanding of access management or IT operations is an asset.
