Job Title: Forklift Operator

Location: Dartmouth, Nova Scotia

Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 5:00PM

Pay Rate: $22/hr

Job Overview:

Advantage Personnel is hiring a dependable and skilled Forklift Operator to support warehouse operations for our client in Bedford, NS. This role combines forklift operation with general warehouse duties, offering a fast-paced, hands-on environment. We're looking for someone who is safety-focused, detail-oriented, and thrives in a team setting.

Responsibilities:

• Operate a forklift safely to load, unload, and transport materials throughout the warehouse.
• Conduct pre-shift equipment inspections and follow all forklift safety procedures.
• Receive, sort, and store incoming materials and inventory.
• Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse workspace.
• Follow all safety guidelines and workplace protocols to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements:

• Valid Forklift Operator Certification.
• Previous warehouse or production experience operating a forklift.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and safety.
• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented approach.
