Position: Mobile Patrol Guard

Status: Full Time – 84 hours bi-weekly

Schedule:

Rotation 1:

• Monday - 0000 - 0800hrs
• Tuesday - 0000 - 0800hrs
• Saturday - 0000 - 0800hrs
• Saturday - 2315 -0800hrs

Rotation 2:

• Monday - 0000 - 0800hrs
• Tuesday - 0000 - 0800hrs
• Friday - 0000 - 0800hrs
• Saturday - 0000 - 0800hrs
• Saturday - 2315 -0800hrs

Pay Rate:

$18.35/hr - 0 to 3 months

$18.75/hr - 3 months to 1 year

$19.60/hr - 1 year +

Overtime Method: Averaging Agreement – calculated after 88 hours bi-weekly

Requirements:

• Must possess a valid G Class license.
• Must provide a clean drivers abstract. No convictions and no demerits in the last 3 years.
• Valid Ontario Security License
• Previous security experience is an asset
• Post Secondary education in a Law Enforcement/Security program from a recognized college preferred
• Working knowledge of the Trespass to Property Act and Mental Health Act
• Superior written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated punctuality and reliability, tact and diplomacy
• First Aid, CPR Level C
• Mobile patrol training: 3 mobile specific e-learning courses + 2 mobile training shifts
• Legally authorized to work in Canada

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Completing patrols
• Responding to alarms and service calls
• Conducting property inspections
• Reporting any issues or concerns
