Job Offer : Class 1 Yard Shunter

Hourly Wage: $26.00

Evening and/or Weekend Premium: +$2.00/hour

Schedule: Afternoon, and evening shifts available. 8- to 12-hour shifts.

Location: Montreal, Quebec

We are hiring experienced Class 1 drivers for a full-time yard shunting position in Montreal. This role involves moving trailers within a busy yard environment (200+ trailers) while maintaining strict safety standards.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough 15-minute inspections before each shift.

• Strictly follow established procedures and protocols.

• Drive safely and efficiently.

• Move trailers within the yard according to dispatch instructions.

• Work as a team and demonstrate a positive, problem-solving attitude.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Class 1 driver.

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Shunting or local deliveries (City P&D).

• Clean driving record.

• Safety and compliance orientation.
