The City of Saint John is seeking a student to join our Information Technology (IT) team for the summer months (from mid May until late August). The successful candidate will provide technical services and support throughout the organization.

This position will assist the IT team with operational tasks including: providing desktop support to customers; assist the network team with testing and moving equipment; receive calls for service, data entry, and other administrative tasks; set up mobile devices; and create reports.

Essential Qualifications:

The successful candidate will be a student in Computer Science, Information Sciences or a related field of information systems, or an equivalent program. Knowledge of computer hardware and software, including desktops, network technology, Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Active Directory, etc. is an asset. This self- motivated individual must also possess strong customer service skills. A security clearance is required as well as an Oath of Confidentiality.
