JOB SUMMARY :
Reporting to the Assistant Director of Professional Services, the manager plans, organizes, directs, coordinates and controls the activities of the Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy and Recreation Therapy departments to provide services to patients. They establish policies and procedures in accordance with the administrative management, as well as the professional standards of Vitalité Health Network and the profession. This person defines clinical approaches, manages budgets, purchases equipment and supplies, manages human resources, and manages risk and quality.
REQUIREMENTS :
- Bachelor's or master's degree from a recognized university in a health field, preferably in a discipline under their supervision;
- Member of a professional association in the health sector;
- Minimum of five years' clinical experience;
- Recent management experience considered an asset;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Meditech software tools;
- Skills in planning, evaluating and improving services, as well as in resolving conflicts and problems;
- Strategic thinking and an innovative, collaborative management style;
- Strong sense of responsibility and ability to delegate duties and responsibilities;
- Ability to manage time effectively and set priorities;
- Participatory leadership style that focuses on patients and outcomes and inspires commitment, respect, compassion and equity;
- Commitment and adherence to changes and ability to manage them with a positive attitude;
- Ability to use evidence-based data to support decision making;
- Interpersonal skills that foster a welcoming environment, patient care and effective communication;
- Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills;
- Sincere desire to improve one's professional knowledge and skills and ability to stimulate professional interest within the team;
