Summary

The Specialist, Business Performance supports the organization's strategic, financial, and operational performance framework by delivering FP&??driven insights, performance reporting, and decision support to enhance efficiency, financial optimization, and strategic execution. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Business Strategy, the role collaborates closely with Finance, Operations, and Business Units to monitor KPIs, analyze trends, develop forecasts, and assess overall business performance. It also contributes to the creation and improvement of dashboards, financial models, and reporting processes to ensure accuracy, consistency, and actionable insights for senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver financial and operational performance reporting, insights, and analysis.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, KPI tracking, and financial performance monitoring.
  • Collaborate cross?functionally with Finance, Operations, and Business Units on planning cycles and business reviews.
  • Analyze business trends, assess variances, and identify opportunities for optimization.
  • Develop, maintain, and improve financial planning models and performance dashboards.
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of performance data and reporting processes.
  • Provide decision?support insights to senior leadership to guide strategic and operational priorities.
  • Support continuous improvement of reporting frameworks, data visualization tools, and business performance methodologies.
Critical Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
  • CPA designation (completed or in progress) preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in FP&A, business performance, financial analysis, corporate finance, or strategy.
  • Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and management reporting.
  • Advanced MS office skills (MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word) and experience with BI/reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or equivalents.
  • Strong understanding of financial statements, KPI frameworks, FP&A methodologies, and data?driven decision?making.
  • Ability to manage and analyze large datasets and translate findings into meaningful insights.
  • Highly detail?oriented with a strong focus on accuracy, data integrity, and reconciliation.
