In this role, you will:

  • Define D365 F&O architecture designs, ensuring solutions align with business goals and processes, fit within enterprise context and align with technical standards and the appropriate regulatory compliance requirements
  • Implement end-to-end technology solutions that meet business needs, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
  • Evaluate and Integrate Emerging Technologies, assessing new tools, platforms, and methodologies to enhance the organization'stechnical capabilities and future-proof systems.
  • Conduct architectural reviews and provide recommendations for improving system design and performance.
  • Work with stakeholders to understand functional and non-functional requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Collaborate with business leaders, IT teams, product managers, business analysts, and external partners to ensure technologysolutions meet business needs.
  • Ensure that proposed solutions comply with regulatory requirements, security standards, and data privacy laws.
  • Oversee the integration of new technologies with existing systems and platforms, fostering a culture of continuous learning andinnovation
  • Ensure seamless interoperability between disparate systems and applications by designing and overseeing API-driven
    architectures, data flows, and middleware solutions.
  • Continuously monitor and optimize system performance, ensuring high availability and responsiveness.
  • Oversee performance testing and recommend architectural adjustments to improve scalability and efficiency.
  • Architecting multi-tier, high-availability infrastructure solutions in an enterprise & cloud environment adhering to information security requirements, disaster recovery, and business continuity following industry best practices, as required.
  • Create comprehensive architectural documentation, including design diagrams, specifications, and integration guidelines.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of architecture decisions, system configurations, and design changes.
  • Stay updated with emerging technology trends and industry best practices.
  • Drive cloud and digital transformation initiatives by leading operational efficiency and modernization efforts, including cloud
    adoption and migration strategies, and legacy system upgrades.
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to security, performance, and compliance across the organization's technology stack.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements in infrastructure, licensing, and technology investments.

What we are looking for:

  • Qualifications include a minimum of 8-12 years experience and a 3-year college diploma or university degree and/or an
    equivalent combination of education and experience. May require a graduate diploma/degree in a related field and/or a
    professional degree, certification, or designation to practice in the profession.
  • Requires advanced professional expertise in D365 F&O.
  • Minimum 2 full scale D365 F&O implementations including SCM (supply chain management) and Finance.
  • D365 Core HR & Expense Mgmt modules, LogicApps, PowerApps are considered asset.
  • Proficiency in D365 F&O software, the D365 software development lifecycle and related tools (LCS, PPAC, GIT).
  • Ability to identify complex, unclear problems, conduct extensive analysis in unfamiliar areas, and develop innovative,
    collaborative solutions by balancing technical inputs with strategic objectives, using advanced skills and independent judgment to predict outcomes, with escalation for alignment with business unit goals.
  • Communication and influencing skills to synthesize diverse and sometimes conflicting perspectives and find mutually beneficialsolutions, often in sensitive or complex situations.
  • Ability to apply knowledge of the relevant technologies, tools and platforms to develop and maintain architectures.
  • Power platform, CE and integration experiences are an asset.

Working Conditions:

  • Ability to work from home as the primary workspace.
  • Some travel across Canada may be required for meeting with clients, stakeholders, or off-site personnel/management.
