Reporting to the Assistant Manager of Marketing, the Digital Marketing Coordinator for Red Shores is responsible for assisting in the strategic planning and design and leading the on-site execution of the marketing and communication plans for RED SHORES. They are a critical part of the marketing team at Red Shores and will be measured by their contribution to the overall success of the facility, and as such will be required to have collaborative working relationships with the entire RED SHORES team.

Working closely with the Marketing and Sales team, this multi-faceted position requires the ability to be both customer focused and technically inclined. This role would assist in the execution (as required) of all marketing initiatives, promotions, Digital Campaigns and specialty programs (i.e. Casino, Live Racing and Dining promotions and events).

Responsibilities
  • Identifying, evaluating, and executing the marketing initiatives for RED SHORES by assisting in the development and implementation of internal promotions, entertainment, advertisement, and special events.
  • Liaison with community organizations, venue suppliers, and local sponsorships.
  • Manage the Reward's Club inventory, digital campaigns and guest experience surveys
  • Assist in developing written communication, briefing documents, rules & regulations and sales support as needed.
  • Always maintain general awareness of gaming operations, complying with security policies and procedures in order to secure corporate assets.
  • Measure and report on the casino customer loyalty program by assisting in all reporting functions of the system and the development of the data management program.
  • Develop marketing reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing data using corporate marketing databases.
  • Maintain RED SHORES website.
  • Produce clear and concise written correspondence in the form of letters and emails.
  • Develop detailed communication plans, strategies and objectives including briefing documents.
  • Establish tracking systems for marketing campaigns and promotional debriefs.
  • Track and monitor completion of promotional materials and projects by coordinating requirements with graphic departments, inventory levels, order placements, and verifying receipts.
  • Maintain the corporate social responsibility values internally and externally, in order to position and build on the image and relevance of ALC and RED SHORES.
  • Incorporate and operationalize the company's Responsible Gambling values, principles and practices into all relevant facets of their business unit and interactions.
  • Monitor marketing material inventory levels and provide assistance in product ordering.

Qualifications
  • Diploma or Degree with marketing, business or communication or a related field
  • 2 years' experience in a marketing or sales coordinator role
  • Experience working with digital marketing, social media or event execution is an asset
  • Requires understanding of operational processes, approaches and issues and/or specialized knowledge in a technical discipline.
  • Requires moderately complex analysis and proven reasoning and planning skills to solve a range of strategic and practical problems.
  • Discretion and judgment must be exercised without reference to a team leader (on occasion), except with respect to policy and financial implications without recognized precedent.
  • Requires interpersonal and communication skills to convey complex information and/or motivate others to take action.
  • Guided by policies and professional standards, there is some freedom to act in areas of responsibility. Work results have a moderate and direct influence on the achievement of unit or function performance objectives.
