Skilled Labourer

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Skilled Labourer with experience using hand tools and working in a construction and or fabrication environment. This role supports daily operations in the shop and on site, assisting with material handling, assembly, installation, and general labour tasks while maintaining a safe and efficient work area.

Key Responsibilities

• Use hand tools and basic power tools to assist with fabrication, assembly, and installation tasks
• Support tradespeople and supervisors with day-to-day construction or shop activities
• Handle, move, and prepare materials and components as required
• Assist with measuring, cutting, fastening, and assembling materials
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies
• Perform general labour duties as required to support production and project schedules

Qualifications and Experience

• Previous experience in a construction, manufacturing, or fabrication environment
• Comfortable and competent using common hand tools
• Ability to read basic measurements and follow instructions
• Physically capable of lifting, carrying, and performing manual labour
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Assets

• Forklift experience and or certification
• Experience with power tools or shop equipment
• Familiarity with millwork, cabinetry, or general construction practices
• Valid driver's license
• Health and safety training or certifications
