Note: This opportunity is exclusively available for students who will be returning to post-secondary studies in the fall of 2026.

We are currently looking to hire post-secondary students to fill the role of seasonal Customer Service Associates in our Customer Care Center.
These positions offer full-time roles from May to August with potential for part-time shifts during the school semester (September-May) to accommodate your academic schedule. Successful candidates are expected to commit to the entire summer contract.

As a Customer Service Associate, you will be the voice of Nova Scotia Power to our customers as you focus on delivering them valued service to meet their needs.
Following successful completion of our comprehensive training, you will be expected to:
- Interact with our customers in a professional and competent manner.
- Consistently meet quality and productivity goals
- Accurately process customer service requests by telephone and email
- Adapt well to change and enjoy a fast-paced environment.
- Possess exceptional phone etiquette and strong verbal and written skills.
You should be able to work flexible 8-hour shifts from Monday to Friday between 8:00 am and 6:00 pm, with the possibility of extended shifts to assist during emergency outages or storms as needed.
You will be responsible for personal safety and that of co-workers by observing and ensuring compliance with all Occupational Health and Safety Rules and Regulations.

- A minimum Grade XII education, returning to University or College in the Fall of 2026
- Proficient computer and keyboarding skills are required.
- You can demonstrate some level of customer service experience from your past work history.
