We are currently seeking a Property Paralegal to join our paralegal team based in the Firm's Halifax, NS office.

Type of Position: Full-Time, Permanent

The Opportunity:

We are looking for a Property Paralegal to join our property team and provide a broad range of real property paralegal support to the business department. The Property Paralegal will manage and organize complex real property files, prepare documentation, and coordinate with clients and industry professionals. They will also directly support transactions involving everything from residential subdivisions to large commercial developments.

The successful candidate will manage files from opening through closing, ensuring accuracy, organization, and seamless execution at every stage. They will review and request title searches, assist with title requisitions, prepare closing documentation, arrange registrations, and administer funds. Post?closing, the successful candidate will help finalize reporting, track undertakings, and maintain meticulous records.

The ideal candidate will bring paralegal specific training, or equivalent work experience, and have familiarity with all documents typical to conveyancing and financing of a variety of real estate assemblies. In addition, experience in real property transactions, or corporate work related to real property transactions, would be an asset.
