4th Class Power Engineer

The Fogo Island Co-operative is currently seeking a 4th Class Power Engineer to join our team. Reporting directly to the Chief Engineer, the candidate will work in our unionized processing plants in Seldom, Joe Batt's Arm, Fogo and other facilities as required. This position is located on Fogo Island and is full time seasonal.

Duties:

• Responsible for the operation and maintenance of high-pressure boilers, refrigeration compressors and auxiliary equipment.
• Complete daily logs on equipment and perform maintenance as required on equipment.
• Provide support to the maintenance team during production season.

Requirements:

• Candidates must hold a valid 4th class certificate of competency.
• This position will require you to work in a fast-paced environment with flexibility for shift work and weekends as required.
• The candidate must have a valid driver's license.
