Title: Quality Assurance Technician (Automotive Manufacturing)

Location: Brampton, ON

Pay Rate: $27.00

Shifts available: Monday - Friday - Flexible to start 7:00AM or 8:00AM

Employment Type: Temporary / Contract

We are seeking a hands-on Quality Assurance Technician with a strong background in automotive manufacturing to support our shop floor operations. This role requires a technically skilled and adaptable professional who can quickly integrate into our environment, support quality systems, and train employees on proper measurement and gauge use.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced production setting and capable of both executing quality tasks and transferring knowledge to team members.

Job Duties:

• Apply Quality Engineering principles within an automotive manufacturing environment
• Use measurement tools and devices to inspect and measure various part features
• Perform dimensional inspections using:
  • Calipers
  • Micrometers
  • Other precision measuring equipment
• Maintain and calibrate company and employee gauges
• Ensure proper gauge control and compliance with quality standards
• Train and coach employees on:
  • Proper gauge usage
  • Measurement techniques
  • Quality inspection procedures
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and root cause investigations
• Adapt quickly to shop floor processes and production workflows

Job Requirements:

• Background in Quality Engineering within a manufacturing environment (automotive preferred)
• Strong working knowledge of gauges, including calibration procedures
• Experience training or mentoring employees on quality tools and measurement practices
• Proficiency using calipers, micrometers, and other inspection equipment
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to a dynamic shop environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
