We are searching for a Personal Attendant to join our Nursing Home Without Walls (Pavillion Landry) team based in Moncton, New Brunswick.
This temporary part-time role (0.6 FTE) is a three (3) month term, with the opportunity for extension and potential growth to full-time hours.

About the Opportunity
- In home support services for clients (Focusing on providing companionship while supporting the completion of household tasks)
- Assists with light cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and other household tasks either independently or in collaboration with the client according to their preferences.
- Incorporates social connection and leisure activities into in home support services according to the client's preferences. (e.g., doing a puzzle with the client while waiting for laundry to dry, including the client in meal preparation if they enjoy cooking, etc.).
- Collaborates with the client and other members of the interdisciplinary team in the development of individualized Client Care Plan;
- Communicates and reports relevant information regarding client care or safety to Supervisor.
- Assists with other aspects of program delivery (e.g., program promotion, facilitating group social activities, etc.) as required.
About You
In addition to placing high value on continuous improvement, collaboration and accountability, you bring:
- A valid Continuing Care Certification or Provincial Personal Care Worker course or equivalent is an asset;
- Ability to read and write in English & French;
- Availability to work Monday through Friday;
- You can provide a clear criminal record with vulnerable sector screening;
- Alzheimer's and Dementia Care course considered an asset;
- Previous working experience with elderly in long-term care or a senior living environment an asset
- Valid CPR & First Aid Certification preferred.
- A passion for the healthcare sector and/or ensuring seniors have access to quality accommodations, services and care
