What is the opportunity?

Transform RBC's commercial banking landscape! Lead the charge in building next-generation liquidity solutions and virtual account management that solve complex business problems and unlock untapped client opportunities. As a Director/Sr. Product Owner, you'll drive innovation across liquidity, payments, and cash management while shaping the future of RBC's treasury operations in an increasingly digital world.

What will you do?

  • Drive digitization of end-to-end client journeys, improving speed, transparency, and scalability
  • Own transformation roadmaps aligned to enterprise priorities, platform strategies, and regulatory expectations
  • Partner with Product, Technology, Operations, Risk, Compliance, and Finance to deliver integrated outcomes
  • Translate business and client needs into clear investment cases, delivery plans, and success metrics
  • Oversee execution governance, dependency management, and benefits realization across portfolios
  • Manage financial outcomes, including cost efficiency, revenue enablement, and return on investment
  • Build, mentor, and lead high-performing transformation teams across multiple workstreams

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have:

  • 10+ years in treasury, payments, cash management, or liquidity management within a large financial institution
  • Demonstrated leadership of enterprise-scale digital and process transformation initiatives
  • Strong understanding of commercial and corporate banking operating models and client journeys
  • Experience developing and managing business cases, investment prioritization, and P&L outcomes
  • Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders across business, technology, and control functions

Nice to have:

  • Experience with large-scale banking platform modernization or enterprise payments transformation
  • Exposure to North American or global banking operating models
  • Strong understanding of regulatory and risk considerations impacting treasury and payments
  • Experience working in agile, product-aligned, or hybrid delivery environments
  • Formal training or certification in transformation, change management, or portfolio delivery
