Title: Security Guards

Location: Mississauga, Brampton, Toronto, North York

Hours: Vary, Continental 8–12-hour shifts, days and nights

Position Overview:

We are seeking professional, reliable, and experienced Security Guards to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for clients, staff, and the public. Successful candidates will demonstrate strong communication skills, sound judgment, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service while responding effectively to security incidents.

Key responsibilities:

• Monitor premises and conduct regular patrols to ensure safety and security
• Respond to incidents, emergencies, and alarms in a timely and professional manner
• Maintain detailed and accurate daily reports, incident logs, and other documentation
• Enforce site rules and regulations while providing a strong security presence
• Assist clients, visitors, and staff with inquiries and support as needed
• De-escalate situations using approved Use of Force and MOAB techniques
• Work collaboratively with site teams, supervisors, and external partners
• Uphold all company policies, procedures, and security best practices
• Observe and report safety hazards or operational concerns
• Provide excellent customer service while representing the organization professionally

Prerequisites:

• Must have valid Ontario Security License
• Must have valid WSIB certified Standard First Aid and CPR - Level 3
• Be able to provide COVID - 19 Vaccination
• Be able to provide immunization record for Mumps, Measles, Rubella, Varicella and two Step TB Skin Test
• Previous experience in Security related field will be a great asset
• Valid Drivers License will be a great asset
• Must have be fluent in English both in oral and written
• Must be able to provide certifications in Use of Force (UOF) and Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB)
• Must be able to provide certifications in Use of Force (UOF) and Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB)
• This Training will be provided at the head office once you join, you must be able to complete the training.
• Please be aware: The UoF/MOAB certification is not paid as it is a pre-requisite; however, Paladin will cover all of the costs of the training with a 6-month commitment to the position/availability
