As a Power System Operator Apprentice, we will prepare you to operate our Hydro Generating Plant in Churchill Falls.

Key Responsibilities:

You have graduated high school and have successfully completed a three-year Electrical or Electronics Technology Program from a recognized post-secondary institute or you have a Journeyperson Certificate as an Industrial or Construction Electrician. You must possess a valid driver's license and some travel is required.­ Other combinations of related education and/or experience may be considered.­

You have thorough knowledge of all regulations and safety rules and possess and maintain an appropriate valid driver's license. You will be responsible for personal safety and that of co-workers by observing and promoting the company's Safety and Health Program. You will also be responsible for performing work in an environmentally responsible manner.­
