Who we are:
We invite you to join the Parks NB team! You will have the opportunity to work at one of the most beautiful beaches in North America with the warmest salt water in Canada. Parlee Beach also holds international Blue Flag certification. The Park offers a variety of beach activities throughout the summer, and its campground feature over 210 sites.

What you will do:
Reporting to the Security Officer Supervisor, the successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling property, beach, building and assets, as well as ensuring security of visitors and employees.

The duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Patrolling grounds to protect against fire, theft and vandalism
  • Locking gates, buildings, vehicles, etc.
  • Monitoring visitors/clients for adherence to rules/policies
  • Granting access to public
  • Operating light vehicles
  • Performing other tasks as required

Who you are:

Your attitude, skills and interests are just as important as your area of study. We are looking for diverse backgrounds that bring a combination of the following:

Required Competencies:

  • Completion of grade 10
  • An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered.

Written and spoken competence in English and French is required. Please state your language capability.

Applicants must clearly demonstrate the essential qualifications to be given further consideration. Please ensure that preferred language for assessment is identified on your resume.

Wage:
$26.87 per hour
