What you will do:
Reporting to the Park Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible to oversee the security and maintenance of grounds, trails, buildings, and vehicles.

The duties and responsibilities will include:

• Supervising staff
• Determining staff schedules
• Providing guidelines for equipment use
• Writing reports
• Clearing trails using a brush cutter or chainsaw
• Using equipment (backhoe, dump truck, industrial mower)
• Cleaning equipment and performing minor repairs

Who you are:

Your attitude, skills and interests are just as important as your area of study. We are looking for diverse backgrounds that bring a combination of the following:

Required Competencies:

• High school diploma or GED
• A minimum of three (3) years of experience in trail building, grounds, and equipment maintenance
• Class 5 Driver's license as issued by the Province of New Brunswick
• An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered.

Written and spoken competence in English and French is required. Please state your language capability.
Applicants must clearly demonstrate the essential qualifications to be given further consideration. Please ensure that preferred language for assessment is identified on your resume.

Wage:
$30.44 per hour

Work environment:

• Office location: Mount Carleton Provincial Park
• Working flexible hours, including evenings, early mornings, weekends and holidays
• Working outside in all weather conditions
