ABOUT CENTRAL ZONE

Central Zone is seeking the services of a full-time Obstetrics and Gynecology physician at the James Paton Memorial Regional Health Center in Gander, NL.

DUTIES (Included but not limited to)
Running Obstetrics and Gynecology Out-Patient Clinic
Responsible for Inpatient Care
General Obstetrical and Gynecological Surgical Procedures
Coverage of on call commitments for Obstetrics and Gynecology, including weekends and holidays; call will be shared equitably.
The successful candidate will work as a part of a Team of physicians and nurses to provide the required services identified above.
The successful candidate must demonstrate an awareness of and be responsible for promoting and supporting person-and family-centered care, demonstrate a commitment to safety and partner with all team members to improve worker and patient safety by integrating safety into work practices, identifying risks and implementing improvements.

QUALIFICATIONS
*Eligible for licensure as a Family Medicine Physician with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Newfoundland and Labrador (CPSNL) Home - CPSNL
*Satisfy credentialing requirements of Newfoundland and Labrador Health Services including a satisfactory criminal record check and vulnerable sector check

HOURS OF WORK
8hr shifts (8:00am-4:00pm or 4:00pm to midnight)

REMUNERATION
Fee for Service at Category A hourly rate (Sessional) as per the MCP payment schedule - Approximately $232.00 per hour.

AVALIABLE INCENTIVES
Physician Signing Bonus $150,000 with $25,000 top up
Come Home Incentive - $100,000 (if eligibility criteria are met)
