Position Overview:
We are looking for someone to join us who builds and maintains strong business relationships with assigned clients / internal partners and provides direction and guidance on optimal technology solutions/services to meet business needs. The position will work with a varied team of IT professionals and bridges the gap between the business and technology, and leverages resources across functional or specialized technology areas to ensure end to end delivery of agreed upon solutions or services within planned forecasts / cost estimates. Role generally supports a significant Business area, Product Group, Enterprise Platform, Service or Capability within a Segment CIO or Functional area.
Job Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the end-to-end delivery of technology solutions or services for Canadian Personal Banking, with a clear focus on strategic planning, solution design, schedule management, scope, change / issues management, client communication and overall resourcing and financial costs on a longer term basis.
Accountable for ensuring visibility and oversight of solutions that are seen to be end to end and ensuring the operational stability of the products for BAU.
Delivery experience working with third parties and integration partners is a must. Ability to help and manage delivery oversight.
Engage in assessments related to risk, controls, implemented control procedures, vulnerability etc.
Contribute to risk and control design assessments for an assigned business application, business portfolio, and overall enterprise, as well as risk mitigation and remediation plans and remediation strategy.
Follow technology, processes, and governance practices to monitor, detect, prevent, and react to both current and emerging technology and security threats to TD.
Provide risk reporting and defining metrics to measure control effectiveness for your own area.
Apply a teamwork philosophy with technology and partners, service or platform owners to integrate all technology security components and address control gaps.
Be able to advise partners on technical implementations in clear easy to understand language
Adhere to policies, procedures, technology control standards and regulatory guidelines.
Contribute to internal activity and process review, flag windows for improvement.
Adhere to, advise, oversee, monitor and enforce enterprise frameworks and methodologies related to technology controls / information security activities.
Influence behavior to reduce risk, foster a strong technology risk management culture.
Implement and manage standards, policies, procedures, and solutions that mitigate risk and maximize security, service availability, efficiency and effectiveness.
Collaborate with other technology/business/corporate/control functions.
Assess, identify and escalate issues appropriately.
Job Requirements:
Undergraduate degree or Technical Certificate
Graduate degree, preferred
10+ years relevant experience
Experience with API development on cloud platforms, including but not limited to: Azure, Google Cloud and other super scalers.
Experience with delivering AI solutions and seeing them through Risk modelling.
Experience on GO Lang, API development, Java etc
