What does this role entail?

Reporting to the Board of Directors and working closely with the leadership team, the President provides overall leadership and direction for Living Stone, overseeing enterprise strategy and business operations while serving as the steward of the organization's mission, culture, and long-term vision. This role is central to strengthening operational rigor and scalable processes, enabling sustainable growth and strong performance. As a trusted partner to the Board, the President ensures the business balances entrepreneurial roots with disciplined execution, positioning Living Stone for continued expansion and long-term success.

As the ideal candidate you:

• Bring 10+ years of progressive leadership, providing enterprise-wide direction, operational discipline, and strategic stewardship in complex, growth-oriented organizations.
• Have led businesses through scale and transition, strengthening structure, processes, and accountability while preserving entrepreneurial spirit.
• Are a seasoned general manager with full P&L responsibility and strong financial leadership, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and performance reporting.
• Use data, KPIs, and scorecards to drive disciplined, transparent decision-making, balancing cost control with strategic investment for growth and scalability.
• Lead process improvement, standardization, quality initiatives, embedding frameworks that drive accountability and operational excellence.
• Build high-performing, inclusive teams, navigating complex stakeholder dynamics with judgment and emotional intelligence, and fostering safe, collaborative cultures.

This role is based in Mount Uniacke, Nova Scotia.
