We are seeking a Community and Senior Services Manager to join our team of professionals. If you have a passion for working with seniors, and are a caring and creative person, we would love to hear from you. In this role, you will focus on driving sales and building relationships with our residents along with their family members. You must thrive in a busy environment and excel in multitasking. You must be goal oriented having a solid sales acumen and creative marketing mindset.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Generate sales by engaging in tours and meetings with potential residents to achieve property occupancy and revenue targets.
  • Responsible for occupancy and premises appearances at Peoples Park Tower, Lakeview Tower and Camden Park Terrace.
  • Continued relationship building including supporting residents for a smooth transition into the environment and when moving on to the next steps.
  • Develop the annual marketing and sales plan, departmental goals and objectives.
  • Responsible for department budget including forecasting and maintaining budget.
  • Market our services and amenities to current and potential residents, external groups and senior care system partners.
  • Monitor competitors and adjust marketing and sales efforts as needed.
  • Oversee all marketing and advertising promotional activities.
  • Manages Activities Coordinator and oversees Activities Department.
  • Communicate with Housekeeping Manager to ensure community common areas and apartments are clean and welcoming.
  • In conjunction with Health Care Services Manager negotiate care services for new residents.
  • Keep up-to-date records on Resident Wait Lists and customer contacts.
  • Manage and prepare Lease Agreements and Notice to Vacate.
  • Enforce and adhere to all appropriate workplace regulations, compliance, legislation and Company policies and procedures.
  • Oversee social media, and other advertising.
  • Participation in market fairs or similar events.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Post-secondary education in business/marketing field is an asset, along with previous sales experience and 2 years of Management experience in a team leadership position, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum 1 year Business Management experience.
  • Minimum 1 year Sales and Marketing experience.
  • Creative and imaginative vision and aesthetic direction regarding style and look of premises.
  • Excellent English communication (both oral and written).
  • Comfortable speaking in front of groups.
  • Sound knowledge of local community, competitors and media contacts.
  • Computer proficiency including media software, internet resources and Microsoft Office.
  • Must be able to provide a RCMP police check if an offer of employment is extended.

While this position is typically Monday to Friday, flexibility is required for extended hours and weekends for various occasions.
